Pinterest is a platform where millions of people find creative ideas. tvScientific is a CTV advertising platform purpose-built for performance marketers, combining media buying, optimization, measurement, and attribution.

As a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer at tvScientific, you'll build ML and AI systems for the Connected TV ad-buying platform, including real-time bidding, campaign optimization, and incrementality measurement.

What you'll do

  • Write production Python for real-time bidding, model training, and campaign optimization
  • Train, deploy, and monitor ML models for ad decisions
  • Build incrementality measurement systems
  • Design and implement ML products across the ad-buying lifecycle
  • Use LLMs and generative AI for internal tools
  • Serve as technical lead and mentor

What we're looking for

  • Strong production Python skills
  • Solid statistics and ML fundamentals
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools
  • Adtech or CTV experience
  • Clear written communication
  • Comfort with ambiguity
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, Engineering, or equivalent
  • 4+ years of industry experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AI coding assistants (Cursor, Copilot, Codex)
  • LLM-powered productivity tools
  • Causal inference
  • Big data with Scala and Spark
  • Systems programming in Zig, C, C++, Rust
  • Reinforcement learning or bandit algorithms
  • Agentic AI systems
  • MLOps experience on AWS

Compensation: $155,584—$320,320 USD, plus equity. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
