Sr. Public Relations Manager

As a Senior Public Relations Manager at Databricks, you will shape the voice of a leading data and AI company, building stories and positioning Databricks at the center of industry conversations. This high-impact role partners with the Senior Director of Global Communications to lead PR programs, including product launches, partner announcements, customer storytelling, funding news, and acquisitions. You will also leverage AI and agents to automate routine tasks and enhance team efficiency.

• Shape communications strategy aligned with business goals and product roadmaps.
• Generate high-quality media coverage in top-tier outlets and new media publications.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and executive teams.
• Embrace agentic workflows to automate repetitive tasks.
• Oversee creation of press releases, blog posts, op-eds, and talking points.
• Elevate executive communications for leadership and founding team events.
• Manage PR agency relationships in North America.

• 8+ years of communications experience in enterprise software or growth-stage technology.
• Experience with data and AI companies, product PR, corporate PR, and partner communications.
• Fluency with AI tools and track record of improving workflows.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with cross-functional partnership experience.
• Deep media landscape understanding with established journalist relationships.
• Experience with crisis communications and reputation management.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
