We are seeking a Sr. Staff Technical Program Manager to join our Ads & Monetization organization. This is one of the most senior individual contributor TPM roles in the Monetization organization, with direct impact on multiple company OKRs. You will lead company-level programs within Ads & Monetization, including areas such as Auction & Marketplace, Measurement & Attribution, Formats, and new surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Lead company-level programs within Ads & Monetization with direct impact on multiple company OKRs.
  • Identify opportunities for long-term business innovation and differentiation within Ads.
  • Influence at the VP level and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Go-to-Market teams.
  • Own metrics and accountability frameworks for programs.
  • Bring structure and decision velocity to ambiguous, high-stakes work.
  • Exercise technical judgment equivalent to an L16 SWE.
  • Embed AI tools into program workflows to accelerate synthesis, planning, reporting, and repeatable workflows.
  • Provide thought leadership and mentorship to the broader TPM org.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical program management or related experience leading company-level programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in ads, marketplace systems, machine learning/AI, ranking, recommendation systems, experimentation, measurement, data platforms, or similar complex technical domains.
  • Track record of influencing senior leaders (VP/SVP/estaff) and aligning multiple organizations.
  • Experience contributing to product or technology roadmaps at the company level.
  • Expertise in building accountability systems across teams without formal management structure.
  • Technical judgment and communication skills to guide engineering teams through complex tradeoffs.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI to improve speed and quality in program work.
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent work experience.

Compensation

Base salary range: $163,639—$336,903 USD. The position is also eligible for equity.

Location

This role is US-based and can be situated anywhere in the country. The role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/quarter.
