Staff Backend Engineer for the Grafana Alerting squad, responsible for building distributed systems to scale alert ingestion, delivery, and evaluation of Prometheus-based alerts. The role involves influencing roadmap, driving projects from ideation to operations, mentoring team members, and participating in on-call rotations.

• Take an active role in influencing roadmap and career objectives.
• Deliver new features and iterate based on results.
• Drive projects from ideation to operations.
• Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Mentor and support team members.

• Solid experience with at least one programming language; Go is used, but Python, Java, C++, Rust or similar are acceptable.
• Experience delivering projects from requirements to shipping.
• Experience with cloud software or systems engineering.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation range for Ireland: EUR 117,600 - EUR 141,120. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
