About the role

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer on Sentry's AI/ML team, you will develop models and agents to make the product smarter, integrating AI/ML into core products from issue triage to predictive analytics for application performance monitoring.

In this role you will

  • Build state-of-the-art agentic AI systems to triage, debug, and solve real production issues
  • Leverage Sentry's massive dataset of errors, spans, and profiles
  • Own development of major initiatives in the AI/ML space

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of professional experience with MS/PhD in CS/ML or related field; or 6+ years with Bachelor's
  • Demonstrated expertise building production-grade agentic systems and tools
  • Comfortable writing production quality code (Python)
  • Expertise with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch)
  • Familiarity deploying ML models at scale in production
  • Experience in technical documentation, mentoring, and presenting
  • Proven track record of owning a system, feature, or component

Compensation & benefits

Base salary range: $155,000–$400,000. Eligible for incentive compensation, equity grants, paid time off, and group health insurance. See Sentry Benefits for details.
