Staff / Principal Product Manager, Platform & Infrastructure

Render is building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. The platform offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, trusted by over 7 million developers. In February 2026, Render raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing total funding to $260M.

We're looking for a Staff Product Manager to own the vision and roadmap for Render's infrastructure platform. You'll drive the technical and strategic direction for Render's core platform, working directly with infrastructure engineering to shape architectural decisions. You'll engage with customers and product development teams to understand their needs and build conviction about where the platform needs to go next.

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the foundational primitives upon which everything at Render is built, spanning compute & orchestration, network topology, traffic, routing features, and data storage infrastructure.
• Drive prioritization across platform investments, balancing foundational capabilities against near-term product and business needs.
• Partner deeply with Engineering and other Product teams to shape the technical direction of Render's core infrastructure, ensuring architectural decisions optimize for long-term reliability, performance, and extensibility.
• Develop a strong, opinionated point of view on how Render's platform primitives need to evolve to serve AI-native builders, from compute and orchestration to storage and runtime.
• Set the standard for how product teams build on Render's platform, providing clear guidance, boundaries, and abstractions.

• 7+ years in Product Management, with the majority spent on developer tools, infrastructure, or platform products.
• General knowledge of how AI is being used by modern teams. Bonus if you have a strong perspective on the future of agentic memory management and compute workloads.
• Deep developer empathy and the technical depth to make sound architectural tradeoffs in collaboration with engineering.
• A track record of taking ambiguous, cross-cutting platform problems and turning them into clear strategy and shipped outcomes.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.

• Experience as an infrastructure engineer.
• Experience building AI agents or infrastructure.
