Staff+ Software Engineer, Agentic Software Security

Verkada's Security Team is a software engineering team that builds security into the SDLC through automation, libraries, tools, and frameworks. This role leads initiatives to eliminate vulnerability classes, builds tools for secure development, leverages AI to automate security practices, and collaborates with engineering leaders and the CISO.

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent; Masters or PhD in security is a bonus.
• 7+ years as a software engineer working on security problems.
• Interest in security weaknesses, attacks, and mitigations.
• Experience leveraging AI.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.

Estimated annual pay range: $200,000—$300,000 USD.
