Role: Tech Lead, Platform Reliability Engineering. Own technical direction for Asana's Platform Reliability Engineering team. This is a hands-on role building core platform systems like load shedding, rate limiting, circuit breakers, and traffic controls.
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for the team.
- Design and build core platform systems.
- Own critical platform concerns like ingress and egress.
- Define stable interfaces and libraries.
- Lead end-to-end projects.
- Raise the bar for technical quality.
- Partner with other infrastructure teams.
- Debug hard problems across the stack.
Qualifications
- Strong software engineering background.
- 8+ years of experience building and operating backend systems at scale.
- Experience leading technical projects.
- Familiarity with distributed systems patterns.
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Terraform, and monitoring tooling like Datadog.
- Clear communicator and strong collaborator.
- Curiosity about AI tools.
Compensation: Base salary range 29000 - 42000 PLN gross monthly, plus equity (RSUs).
