Datadog is the leading observability and security platform for the AI era, providing unified visibility across the technology stack. As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will provide hands-on technical services to our largest customers, supporting adoption and providing guidance over Datadog's suite of products. You will advise on technical support and product adoption, analyze customer IT Operations environments, advocate for customers, participate in business reviews, and collaborate with product and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Advise on technical support and product adoption in line with pre-sales, post-sales, and renewal processes.
- Analyze customer IT Operations environments and provide recommendations to maximize Datadog's value.
- Be the customer's advocate by knowing their goals and use cases, suggesting process changes, product adoption, configuration, and additional features.
- Participate in Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify new features and products.
- Continuously evolve best practices for technical product adoption and customer success.
Qualifications
- Solid technical grounding and hands-on experience in IT Operations.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Comfortable with scripting languages like Python, Javascript, Ruby, Perl, Go, PHP, or Chef/Puppet.
- Skilled in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab.
- Knowledgeable about containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
- Able to sit up to 4 hours and travel up to 30% of the time.
- Previous experience as a TAM supporting mid-market and/or Enterprise customers in the cloud space.
- Experienced using Datadog and/or other cloud monitoring tools.
Compensation: The reasonably estimated yearly salary for this role is $101,000—$134,000 USD.
