As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will provide hands-on technical services to our largest customers, supporting adoption and providing guidance over Datadog's comprehensive product suite. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating IT operations into business value.
What You'll Do
- Advise on technical support and product adoption aligned with pre-sales, post-sales, and renewal processes.
- Analyze customers' IT Operations environments and provide recommendations to maximize Datadog's value.
- Advocate for customers by understanding their goals and suggesting process changes, product adoption, configuration, and additional features.
- Participate in Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify new features.
- Continuously evolve best practices for technical product adoption and customer success.
Who You Are
- Solid technical grounding and hands-on experience in IT Operations.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Comfortable with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, Go, PHP, or Chef/Puppet.
- Skilled in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab.
- Knowledgeable about containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
- Able to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Previous experience as a TAM supporting mid-market and/or enterprise customers in the cloud space.
- Experience using Datadog and/or other cloud monitoring tools.
