About the Role
As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Datadog, you will provide hands-on technical services to our largest customers, supporting adoption and providing guidance over Datadog's comprehensive suite of products. You will be a trusted advisor for how IT Operations translates to business value.
What You'll Do
- Advise on technical support and product adoption for customers in line with pre-sales, post-sales, and renewal processes.
- Analyze customer's IT Operations environment regularly and provide recommendations to maximize Datadog's value.
- Be the customer's advocate by understanding their goals and use cases, suggesting process changes, product adoption, configuration, and additional features.
- Participate in and prepare for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with customers.
- Collaborate with Datadog's product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify new features and products.
- Continuously evolve best practices for technical product adoption and customer success.
Who You Are
- Solid technical grounding and hands-on experience with IT Operations.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Comfortable with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, Go, PHP, or Chef/Puppet.
- Skilled in using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
- Knowledgeable about containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
- Able to sit up to 4 hours and travel via auto, train, or air up to 30% of the time.
- Previous experience as a TAM supporting mid-market and/or Enterprise customers in the cloud space.
- Experienced using Datadog and/or other cloud monitoring tools.
