Technical Support Engineer 3, Premier - US-West

Datadog's Technical Solutions team is seeking a Premier Technical Support Engineer (PSE) to assist prospects and customers with technical questions about the Datadog platform. This role involves engaging with Premier customers via standard support channels, cadence calls, business reviews, and side projects. The position operates in a hybrid workplace, emphasizing office culture and collaboration.

• Respond to Premier customer requests via phone, chat, and tickets
• Develop relationships with Premier customers and understand their environments
• Reproduce customer issues and assist with implementing 1,000+ Datadog integrations
• Handle urgent escalations, including customer-facing troubleshooting calls and incident management
• Build subject matter expertise in Datadog product areas
• Autonomously troubleshoot complex or high-priority issues
• Drive product and engineering conversations based on client needs
• Mentor junior team members and serve as escalation partner
• Participate in routine health check meetings with Premier customers
• Improve documentation and knowledge base articles

• 5+ years of multi-channel technical support experience at a PaaS, IaaS, or SaaS company
• Experience with programming, Linux, and networks; cloud technology preferred
• Self-motivated, detail-attentive, and client-centric
• Critical thinker and decision maker
• Previous Premium/Enterprise technical support experience
• Knowledgeable of infrastructure, monitoring solutions, and technologies
• Able to work a rotating schedule with weekend availability

The reasonably estimated yearly salary for this role is $96,000—$128,000 USD.
