About the job

Company: Brex is the intelligent finance platform that enables companies to spend smarter and move faster in more than 200 markets. It combines global corporate cards and banking with spend management, bill pay, and travel software. Brex's AI-native automation and world-class service eliminate manual expense and accounting tasks for customers.

Role: As a Manager, Compliance Marketing, you will execute and scale Brex's marketing compliance program across payments, cards, banking, and broader product lines. You will operate at the intersection of compliance, marketing, and product, ensuring customer-facing materials are accurate, compliant, and aligned with Brex's standards. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, supporting high-volume marketing review workflows while improving processes, guidance, and training.

Responsibilities: Review and approve marketing materials across channels (web, SEO, campaigns, email, product marketing, promotional content) for compliance with internal policies and regulations (e.g., UDAAP, FTC advertising standards). Ensure marketing claims are accurate, substantiated, and appropriately disclosed. Manage high-volume intake of marketing reviews, triaging requests, prioritizing based on risk, and meeting turnaround expectations. Partner with Marketing, Product, and Legal teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable guidance. Track and document marketing reviews for audit readiness. Identify and escalate higher-risk issues. Support and improve marketing compliance policies, procedures, training, and workflows.

Requirements: 4–6 years of experience in compliance, legal, risk, or related function within banking, financial services, or fintech. Experience reviewing marketing materials in a regulated environment. Working knowledge of key marketing and consumer protection regulations (UDAAP, FTC advertising rules; familiarity with Reg Z, CAN-SPAM, TCPA is a plus). Strong attention to detail, risk assessment, and pragmatic application of regulatory requirements. Clear communication and ability to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated ownership and problem-solving skills. Collaborative, hands-on working style.

Nice to have: Experience supporting or scaling a marketing compliance review program, familiarity with fintech products, experience with partner banks, and familiarity with AI tools or AI-generated marketing content.

Compensation: The expected salary range is $159,000 - $198,000. Equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
