Engineering Manager

Asana is a leading platform for human + AI collaboration. We are looking for a hands-on, technically strong Engineering Manager to join our Core Integrations team, which builds extensible foundations and developer-facing capabilities for customers, partners, and developers. This role is based in our Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule (Mon, Tue, Thu in office).

• Manage and coach 6–8 engineers, fostering an inclusive culture and team rituals.
• Partner with product, design, professional services, and UXR to translate customer pain points into a reliable technical MVP and scalable architectural roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to balance large-scale feature launches with iterative enhancements.
• Guide the articulation and execution of the team’s work tied to high-level business goals.

• 6+ years of relevant experience with leadership experience (managing or technical lead).
• Demonstrated track record of growing engineers across levels.
• Has worked on platforms before; SDKs, APIs, developer tooling, or frameworks experience are relevant.
• Thrives in customer conversations and translates qualitative insights into crisp product decisions.
• Clear, persuasive communicator who can bring structure to ambiguous spaces.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range is $202,000-$230,000. Additional components may include equity, sales incentive pay, and benefits.
