About the job

Asana is a leading platform for human + AI collaboration. Our sales team focuses on building a user-driven marketing and sales engine. In this role, you will join a newly formed team bringing Asana Service Management to IT and service teams, partnering with a dedicated Account Executive to build repeatable technical plays.

What you'll achieve

  • Lead technical validation for IT and service team opportunities, from discovery through proof, demo, and close.
  • Develop deep understanding of IT and service management workflows and map them to Asana Service Management.
  • Translate customer pain points into solution designs and business value narratives.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, whiteboard conversations, and tailored product demonstrations.
  • Help customers envision modern service delivery, workflow automation, and AI.
  • Advise on solution architecture, integrations, admin considerations, and deployment.
  • Build repeatable demo assets, solution patterns, and technical collateral.
  • Surface structured customer feedback to Product, Product Marketing, and Sales leadership.
  • Deliver technical enablement to the revenue organization.

About you

  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
  • Strong understanding of IT and service team personas.
  • Strong discovery skills.
  • Proficiency in product demonstrations, workshops, and whiteboard sessions.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts including LLMs, AI agents, integrations, workflow design, data structure, permissions, and automation.
  • Comfort operating in early-stage or incubation motions.
  • Familiarity with service management methodologies such as ITIL, service catalog design, SLA frameworks.
  • Experience with tools in ITSM, ESM, ticketing, knowledge management, identity, or workflow automation.
  • Understanding of AI-powered automation and self-service experiences.

Compensation & benefits

Base salary range: £86,100 - £109,900. Additional components may include equity, sales incentive pay, and benefits.
