Full Stack Engineer, AgentControl

Full Stack Engineer on LaunchDarkly's AgentControl team, building web applications and distributed systems for AI evaluations, enabling customers to control, monitor, and optimize agent functionality. Primarily Go, Python, TypeScript, with AWS, CockroachDB, Datadog, DeepEval, and FastAPI.

• Build and maintain scalable backend services, distributed systems, and APIs.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to improve GenAI workflows.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions.
• Stay current with AI developments and software best practices.
• Own production code and participate in on-call rotations.

• 5+ years professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building GenAI features, agents, or working with LLMs.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or deploying AI services.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Production-ready code with quality and maintainability.
• Experience with distributed systems or data ingestion.
• Strong computer science fundamentals.
• Collaborative and communicative.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid evolution.
• Strong ownership and accountability.
• Ability to work with Product and Design teams.

Target pay ranges for Level 3: Zone 1 (SF/Bay Area, NYC, Boston, Seattle) $171,200-$235,400; Zone 2 (Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago) $154,100-$211,860; Zone 3 (all other US) $145,500-$200,090.
