About the Role

Lattice's Engineering team is building the future of People + AI, reimagining the talent management suite (Reviews, Surveys, Goals) with AI-powered experiences. The Talent Engineering organization builds products across Performance Management, Engagement Surveys, and Goal Setting.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the Talent Engineering organization, spanning 50+ engineers and managers across a portfolio of customer-facing products.
  • Make thoughtful tradeoffs across customer needs, product priorities, and engineering investment.
  • Coach and develop engineering managers and senior leaders across Lattice Engineering.
  • Ensure a delightful, reliable experience for Lattice customers globally while enabling rapid product development.
  • Partner with Product and Design to define and prioritize product strategy and roadmap.
  • Represent Lattice with key prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with the broader Engineering leadership team to shape department-wide strategy and goals.
  • Scale systems, processes, and organizational practices for effective planning, reliable delivery, and quick learning.

What You Will Bring to the Table

  • 10+ years of engineering management experience, including at least 5 years leading an engineering organization with multiple teams and layers of leadership.
  • Experience managing engineering investment across a product portfolio and making tradeoffs under resource constraints.
  • History of shipping high-quality products where quality, trust, reliability, and scalability are essential.
  • High degree of autonomy, ownership, and sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engineering leaders, including ICs and managers.
  • Eye for great products and cross-functional delivery.
  • Strong communication and executive presence.
  • Curiosity about AI and its potential in talent management.

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated annual cash salary: $283,000 - $354,000. Eligible for incentive stock options. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D/disability insurance, paid parental leave, PTO inclusive of holidays and sick time, commuter/parking accounts, lunches in office, internet/phone stipend, one-time WFH setup stipend, 401(k) retirement plan, financial planning, and learning & development budget.
