Senior Director of Engineering

Lattice's Engineering team is building the future of People + AI, reimagining the talent management suite (Reviews, Surveys, Goals) with AI-powered experiences. The Talent Engineering organization leads this evolution, building best-in-class products across Performance Management, Engagement Surveys, and Goal Setting.

• Lead the Talent Engineering organization, spanning 50+ engineers and managers across a portfolio of customer-facing products.
• Make thoughtful tradeoffs across customer needs, product priorities, and engineering investment.
• Coach and develop engineering managers and senior leaders, raising the bar for leadership, execution, and organizational health.
• Ensure a delightful, reliable experience for customers globally while enabling rapid product development.
• Partner with Product and Design to define, plan, and prioritize product strategy and roadmap.
• Represent Lattice in conversations with key prospects and customers.
• Collaborate with the broader Engineering leadership team to shape department-wide strategy and goals.
• Scale systems, processes, and organizational practices for effective planning, reliable delivery, and quick learning.

• 10+ years of engineering management experience, including at least 5 years leading an engineering organization with multiple teams and layers of leadership.
• Experience managing engineering investment across a portfolio of products and making tradeoffs when resources are constrained.
• History of shipping high-quality products where quality, trust, reliability, and scalability are essential.
• High degree of autonomy, ownership, and sound judgment, with a CEO mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to develop engineering leaders, including both individual contributors and managers.
• Eye for great products and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Strong communication and executive presence, influencing decisions across Engineering, Product, Design, and company leadership.
• Curiosity about AI and its potential to improve how organizations develop their people.

Estimated annual cash salary: CAD $270,000 - CAD $360,000. Eligible for incentive stock options.
