Global Sourcing Specialist (Winter C0-Op 2027)

The Global Sourcing team is responsible for all direct procurement associated with Verkada's Hardware, including cost management from FATP to sub-tier supply chain suppliers, testing, certification, OPEX and CAPEX. As a Global Sourcing Specialist Intern, you will support direct sourcing strategy and execution for a product line, including negotiating contracts and costs (BOM, MVA, Capex, Opex) for system level and individual commodities. You will interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders to bring products to market, including finding, qualifying, and managing suppliers.

• Support senior sourcing members with end-to-end hardware sourcing responsibilities for Verkada Product Line(s) during NPI and MP phases
• Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, etc. for various aspects of operation including cost management and margin analysis
• Find and manage suppliers including relationship management, audits, and onboarding
• Collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams to deliver new products

• BS/MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a graduation year of 2027 or 2028
• Available for a Winter Co-Op, starting around January 4th, preferably for an extended term (4-12 months)
• Available for a full-time (40 hours per week) in-person internship in San Mateo, CA
• Experience with Excel (or related) modeling and simulations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to management
• Strong academic performance to date

Estimated Hourly Pay Range: $45—$45 USD
