Samsara is seeking an agile litigator to join its in-house legal team, working across litigation, compliance, and privacy matters. The role involves advising cross-functional teams on litigation strategy, managing outside counsel, and handling a diverse range of high-stakes litigation and pre-litigation issues.

• Coordinate end-to-end commercial litigation support, including discovery, briefs, witness preparation, and settlements.
• Advocate for customer data privacy, resolving subpoenas and legal requests for customer data.
• Mitigate risk and proactively resolve disputes.
• Uplevel and manage the eDiscovery lifecycle through automation and AI.
• Drive process innovation by identifying legal risks and designing scalable strategies.
• Monitor trends and deliver actionable legal insights.

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 4+ years of litigation experience in a law firm, government agency, or corporate legal department; preference for in-house experience at a technology company.
• Proactive self-starter with ability to manage multiple high-priority projects.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and data privacy frameworks.
• Direct experience managing commercial disputes and adversarial matters.
• Outstanding analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Annual base salary range: $119,297.50—$180,450 USD. Total rewards include performance-based bonus/variable pay, equity (for eligible roles), professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and a flexible remote model.
