Manager of Applied AI Architecture, Enterprise Tech (Cyber)

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco, focused on creating reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. As the Manager of Applied AI Architecture, Enterprise Tech (Cyber), you will drive adoption of frontier AI across the cybersecurity industry, helping security companies build Claude into their products via Anthropic's API, Claude Code, and Claude for Enterprise. You will lead and grow a team of Applied AI Architects, establish pre-sales best practices, and represent Anthropic as a technical lead on key partnerships.

• Manage and mentor a team of Applied AI Architects, providing technical guidance and career development.
• Set goals and reviews for the team, promoting growth and output.
• Work with high-value enterprise tech customers on AI adoption strategies, focusing on pre-sales technical excellence including use case scoping, technical champion building, and POC execution.
• Partner with GTM leadership to co-build strategies for Enterprise Tech (Cyber) customers.
• Own technical portions of pre-sales engagements, ensuring compelling demos and validating enterprise customer ROI.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to unify stakeholders.
• Travel occasionally for executive sessions and technical workshops.
• Lead vision, strategy, and execution of innovative AI solutions.
• Contribute to thought leadership through presentations, webinars, and content.
• Stay current with emerging AI/ML trends and competitive landscape.

• 7+ years as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical role.
• 3+ years of technical go-to-market management experience, specifically managing pre-sales teams.
• Experience with digital native customers (Vertical Enterprise SaaS, Horizontal Enterprise SaaS, Consumer Technology, PaaS, etc.).
• Deep technical proficiency with enterprise AI deployments, API integrations, and production LLM use cases.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching abilities.
• Familiarity with LLM architecture and operation.
• Experience with prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, and architecting AI-powered systems.
• Understanding of developer tooling, SDKs, and technical integration patterns.

• 5+ years leading solution architect teams through hypergrowth (10→50+ people).
• Hands-on AI/ML platform experience and C-level engagement in $10M+ technical evaluations.
• Multi-segment GTM experience from startup to Fortune 500.

Compensation: Annual salary range $315,000—$380,000 USD. For sales roles, the range is OTE.
