About the role
As a Marketing Events Producer, you will own end-to-end production of core events, from kickoff to on-site execution, ensuring high-quality stage production that reflects Anthropic's brand and mission.
Responsibilities
- Own production for conferences, keynotes, summits, and tentpole events.
- Develop run-of-show scripts, cue sheets, production schedules, stage plots, and technical riders.
- Lead creative and technical vision for stage design, lighting, audio, video, and scenic elements.
- Direct rehearsals and coach speakers.
- Serve as primary show caller on-site.
- Manage external production partners and vendors.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and executive teams.
- Manage production budgets and negotiate contracts.
- Establish production best practices and processes.
- Conduct post-event debriefs and stay current with production technologies.
Qualifications
Minimum: Strong portfolio of produced events, deep knowledge of technical production (audio, video, lighting, LED, staging, content playback), experience with run-of-show documentation and live show calling, speaker coaching, project management, vendor management, clear communication, calm under pressure, collaborative.
Preferred: 10+ years in live event production, experience in AI/tech/enterprise, broadcast/theatrical/concert background, hybrid/virtual production experience, familiarity with LED volumes and real-time graphics, experience scaling events programs.
Compensation
Annual Salary: $255,000—$320,000 USD
