About the Role
CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™, a specialized cloud provider delivering GPU compute for AI and machine learning. The Technical Project Management team manages the global build-out of physical infrastructure. This role leads data center deployment projects from signing through day 2 operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle of multiple simultaneous data center deployment projects, including design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations.
- Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Manage and allocate resources (teams, tools, budget) to meet fast-paced timelines.
- Identify project risks, create mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure data center deployments meet technical and quality standards, including compliance with industry best practices and local regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular progress reports.
- Provide technical guidance on data center design and deployment, including power, cooling, networking, and physical security.
- Travel up to 60% to data center locations to monitor progress and troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of demonstrated experience in data center deployment, infrastructure project implementation, or technical project management within a data center environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex technical projects from initiation to completion.
- In-depth technical knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., TIA-942, Uptime Institute, ASHRAE) and compliance requirements.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% to data center locations, sometimes on short notice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: Experience with HPC or AI-specific infrastructure, liquid-to-chip cooling, and advanced redundancy protocols.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $157,000 to $210,000. Total rewards include a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
