Anthropic is an AI safety company building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We are seeking a Product Manager to lead our cybersecurity product portfolio, setting strategy, shipping products, and representing Anthropic with CISOs, vendors, and researchers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set Anthropic's cybersecurity product portfolio strategy and be accountable for results.
  • Ship security products, including vulnerability discovery and remediation in Claude Code.
  • Represent Anthropic externally with CISOs, vendors, researchers, governments, and press.
  • Partner with research to improve model performance on security tasks.
  • Work with safeguards and policy on model access for cybersecurity.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across research, engineering, sales, safeguards, policy, legal, and comms.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Meaningful experience in security (building products, running teams, or hands-on in application security, detection/response, vulnerability research, or offensive security).
  • Proven ability to build products or businesses from scratch and take them to paying customers.
  • Design for future model capabilities, treating current limitations as research targets.
  • Strong product judgment and technical depth to evaluate findings.
  • Excellent communication with CISOs, researchers, and executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience building and shipping products, especially in security.
  • Fluency with AI products, including evaluations and model behavior.
  • Technical background or experience with infrastructure/platform teams.
  • Strong technical judgment on security and infrastructure topics.
  • Structured thinking to break down compliance requirements into shippable features.

Compensation

Annual salary: $385,000—$460,000 USD.

Logistics

Hybrid work policy: all staff expected in office at least 25% of the time. Visa sponsorship available.
