Professional Services Program Manager

GitLab is seeking a Professional Services Program Manager to lead delivery of complex, multi-workstream services engagements for large strategic customers. This role is remote within the US.

• Lead delivery of multi-workstream professional services engagements, maintaining focus on measurable customer outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, including executive leaders and technical teams.
• Develop and apply a delivery methodology using agile and project management best practices.
• Create and communicate program roadmaps, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and secure approval on major milestones and decisions.
• Define program strategy including business justification, expected benefits, and success criteria.
• Establish program structures such as RACI charts, work breakdown structures, and communication plans.
• Develop and maintain revenue forecasts, partnering with Engagement Managers.
• Lead change management activities and ensure customer adoption.

• Experience leading complex programs with multiple interdependent projects, ideally in external billable professional services.
• Strong program planning, forecasting, and reporting skills.
• Top Secret Security Clearance a plus.
• PMI Certification(s) or similar a plus.
• Ability to manage long-term project budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with customers and partners.
• Working knowledge of agile and other project management approaches.
• Domain familiarity with data migrations, software implementations, IT modernization, or training programs.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Willingness to complete GitLab Project Management certification within 2 months.

Base salary range for this role is $92,880—$156,600 USD for US residents.
