Project Manager, Business Transformation

Algolia is the retrieval intelligence layer that turns intent into trusted, decision-grade outcomes. We are looking for a Project Manager to lead individual workstreams within our broader business transformation program, supporting implementation, development, and iteration of workstreams. You will plan, execute, and deliver projects that improve business operations, spanning process redesign, systems implementation, and organizational change, working closely with the Transformation Lead and business stakeholders.

• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned projects: scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality.
• Translate transformation charters into detailed project plans with milestones, owners, and dependencies.
• Run regular status reporting (RYG) and escalate risks and blockers.
• Facilitate cross-functional working sessions with Ops, IT, Finance, and other teams.
• Maintain RAID logs and drive mitigation actions to closure.
• Manage resource needs with capacity planning.
• Partner with change management to ensure adoption.
• Conduct stage reviews and present go/no-go recommendations.
• Run post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Liaise with stakeholders to define scope, timeline, resources, and risk plans.
• Define roles and responsibilities for each initiative.
• Lead multiple project streams with successful turnarounds.
• Identify risks and prepare contingency and recovery plans.
• Develop strategies for efficient resource planning and allocation.
• Apply change management to manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project life cycle.

• 6+ years of project management experience, ideally in business transformation, process improvement, or systems implementation.
• 6+ years managing multiple end-to-end project life cycles.
• Preferred experience in Business Transformation projects driving financial and operational results, including change strategy, stakeholder impact, and organizational readiness.
• Ability to identify risks and prepare contingency and recovery plans.
• Ability to gain trust of senior stakeholders and outside vendors.
• Experience in budgeting, scoping, scheduling, and driving projects from initiation to delivery.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals: charters, schedules, budgets, risk registers, change control.
• Comfort in both waterfall and Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive audiences.
• Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence) and standard reporting formats.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Based in US Eastern Time.

Base Salary Pay Range: $129,500—$160,000 USD. The exact compensation may vary by location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
