Role
As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will lay the foundation for a best-in-class analytics function, partnering with data science and business stakeholders to ensure the analytics stack meets business needs today and in the future.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex data models for dashboards, self-serve analytics, and data science teams.
- Write highly tuned, scalable SQL queries over large-scale, heterogeneous data warehouses.
- Enable AI tooling with semantic layers and observability, guiding analytics functions on best practices.
- Manage and improve data infrastructure for data-driven decision-making.
- Help develop front-end applications to expose analytical data sets enterprise-wide.
- Work with Product and Corporate Engineering teams to structure source systems for reporting consumption.
Qualifications
- At least eight years of experience working with data and two years in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with common analytics tooling: dbt (must), Stitch/Fivetran, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift, Airflow, Dagster, Looker/Mode/Sigma.
- System-oriented and software engineering mindset; deep knowledge of dimensional and fact models.
- Passion for enabling developer experience of data and leading in security, anonymization, and compliance management.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Open to using AI to amplify skills and strengthen work.
Compensation & Benefits
Cash range $190K – $224K, plus equity. Eligible for medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
