About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Compensation Business Partner to join our Compensation Team. You will collaborate with HR partners and business leaders to design and implement compelling compensation programs, advise on complex compensation matters with in-depth analytics, and serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Dropbox's compensation philosophy, design, and programs for client teams.
  • Build consultative relationships with HR business partners, business leaders, and executive leadership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on compensation decisions with data-backed recommendations.
  • Research compensation best practices and trends, and analyze effectiveness, competitiveness, and fairness of existing programs.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide compensation programs and processes, including job architecture, market benchmarking, and compensation review cycles.
  • Design and implement programs with global impact.
  • Build and deliver compensation-related training and education materials.
  • Work with Recruiting to deliver a fair and equitable new hire process, including offer package consultation.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in-house or advising, preferably in technology or compensation consulting.
  • Experience with job evaluation, market matching, job pricing, compensation review cycles, and global compensation practices.
  • Demonstrated adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence and develop relationships with multiple partners.
  • Experience in a client-facing role supporting Corporate Groups or EPD teams.
  • Strong change management and project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data.
  • Advanced Excel skills (interview may include an Excel test).
  • Preferred: Tableau, SQL, Databricks, or AI tools for compensation analytics.

Compensation

Canada Pay Range: $130,500—$176,500 CAD
