MongoDB is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Architect to join its Pre-Sales organization, guiding customers and partners to design and build reliable, scalable systems using the MongoDB data platform. The role works closely with field partner leaders and is key to winning deals, acting as a trusted advisor to users from startups to large enterprise IT organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with advisory consulting partners on reference architectures, patterns, and AI blueprints for MongoDB
  • Articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions and bridge to technical value
  • Partner with account teams to ensure success across accounts from startups to large enterprises
  • Support sales with technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation of technical decision criteria
  • Translate technical concepts into business benefits for management and executives
  • Act as liaison gathering field feedback for the Product Management team
  • Drive demand through industry trade shows and account-based marketing events
  • Build and maintain relationships with technical partners, influencing decisions and reinforcing MongoDB's value
  • Drive partner Center of Excellence strategies and create demand for MongoDB solutions
  • Build joint proposals with partners and drive solution architecture strategy within the partner ecosystem
  • Mentor other pre-sales team members and share best practices

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software and technical aptitude
  • Working knowledge and ability to code with one or more modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#)
  • Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Professional proficiency in speaking and writing Portuguese and English; Spanish highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with major cloud providers
  • Experience with database programming and data modelling
  • Knowledge of modern technologies such as Spark, cloud storage/streaming, API management, Kafka, serverless
  • A cloud provider certification or MongoDB Certification

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range for this role in the U.S. is $104,000—$204,000 USD. Other benefits for eligible U.S.-based candidates may include equity, employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings.
