About the job

Asana is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join its Enterprise Data Governance team. This role is based in Vancouver, BC, with an office-centric hybrid schedule (Mon, Tue, Thu in office). The team owns strategic platform capabilities governing the full lifecycle of customer data, including retention, migration, auditing, export, and operational governance, foundational to Asana's enterprise success and secure AI adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the long-term strategy and roadmap for Enterprise and Data Governance.
  • Own product strategy for customer data lifecycle management.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Design, Security, Legal, Compliance, Support, and GTM teams.
  • Build governance foundations for human and AI agents.
  • Drive strategic investments in governance infrastructure.
  • Partner with Security and Compliance on emerging regulations.
  • Define measurable business outcomes and success metrics.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience with deep expertise in identity/authentication systems, security, regulatory compliance, or B2B enterprise platform solutions.
  • Comfort modeling complex data relationships and managing integration complexity.
  • Experience owning strategy across multiple teams and leading executive reviews.
  • Passion for mentoring other PMs.

Compensation: Base salary range $176,000 - $200,000 CAD (senior) or $211,000 - $240,000 CAD (principal) for the right candidate, plus equity and benefits.
