Senior Sales Engineer, Commercial

Fivetran automates data movement across systems, clouds, and tools, making data access as simple and reliable as electricity. Together with dbt Labs, they are building the data infrastructure layer for analytics and AI.

Fivetran is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Commercial Sales team. You will work with customers to understand their data replication needs, deliver technical presentations, and run proof-of-value processes. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Denver, CO, with two days in the office per week.

• Work with Commercial customers to understand business and data replication requirements
• Develop and deliver technical presentations
• Ensure technical win by running organized proof-of-value processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and sales representatives
• Stay current on industry technologies and trends

• 4+ years in data replication, sales engineering, or related field
• Strong technical background in database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies
• Experience with modern data analytics technologies (cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, BI tools)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and self-hosted software
• Networking experience in cloud and on-premise

Denver Pay Range: $139,018—$173,772.50 USD; OTE: $173,772.50—$217,215.63 USD
