Senior Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales)

As a Senior Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) at MongoDB, you will guide customers in designing and building reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB's data platform. You will work closely with sales executives, act as a trusted advisor, and play a key role in winning deals. This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles or San Diego.

• Design and architect scalable applications, systems, and infrastructure leveraging MongoDB.
• Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies, articulating business value.
• Collaborate with sales teams on account planning, opportunity prioritization, and pipeline generation.
• Generate demand through technical initiatives, events, and account-based marketing.
• Foster customer relationships and ensure success and satisfaction.
• Continuously improve MongoDB solutions and mentor other team members.

• 8-11 years of customer-facing experience, with 5-7 years in pre-sales with enterprise software.
• Minimum 3 years with modern scripting languages (Python, Node.js, SQL) or programming languages (C/C++, Java, C#).
• Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Base salary range for U.S.-based candidates: $104,000—$204,000 USD.
