Overview

This Senior Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) role is based in Minneapolis and follows a hybrid working model. You will join the Pre-Sales organization to guide customers in designing and building reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB's data platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable applications, systems, and infrastructure leveraging MongoDB.
- Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies, articulating business value.
- Collaborate with sales teams on account planning, opportunity prioritization, and pipeline generation.
- Generate demand through technical initiatives, events, and account-based marketing.
- Foster customer relationships, build champions, and ensure satisfaction.
- Innovate and improve MongoDB solutions, mentor team members, and engage in ongoing training.
Qualifications
- 8–11 years of customer-facing experience, with 5–7 years in pre-sales for enterprise software.
- Minimum 3 years with modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) or programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#).
- Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Compensation
Base salary range for this role in the U.S. is $104,000–$204,000 USD.
