Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Threat Intelligence Engineer to join as a dedicated Senior Security Engineer, TI. This role will provide actionable intelligence to empower GitLab to make informed, proactive security decisions, focusing on credible threats to GitLab and the software supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the threat landscape and analyze risks relevant to GitLab.
- Administer the Threat Intelligence Platform and build out intelligence collection pipelines.
- Support incident response through malware analysis and threat actor tracking.
- Collaborate on Purple Team Flash Operations.
- Build relationships with industry peers and share intelligence.
- Write code and leverage AI to improve process efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering actionable intelligence.
- Experience with a Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) and managing threat feeds.
- Experience researching adversaries using OSINT and structured analytical techniques.
- Ability to automate tasks with Python.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Optional: reverse engineering malware, public examples of threat intelligence work.
Compensation
Base salary range for US residents: $140,000—$200,000 USD.
