Solutions Engineer

Anrok is an AI-driven tax automation platform that helps businesses manage sales tax compliance globally. The company is backed by over $50M from investors including Sequoia, Index, and Khosla Ventures, and serves customers such as Notion, Anthropic, and Cursor.

We are seeking a Post-Sales Solutions Engineer to drive expansion within our existing customer base. You will work at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering to unlock new opportunities and ensure long-term partnerships.

• Own technical discovery for expansion, conducting ongoing discovery within existing accounts to uncover new use cases, geographic expansion, and integration opportunities.
• Create technical roadmaps that map customer objectives to Anrok capabilities.
• Partner on account strategy with Account Managers on expansion prioritization, account planning, and QBRs.
• Lead complex implementations, including multi-entity configurations and advanced feature deployments.
• Run live technical consultations, lead troubleshooting calls and configuration sessions.
• Be the Voice of the Customer, channeling technical feedback to Product and Engineering.
• Manage technical escalations, owning the Technical Solutions queue and maintaining SLAs.
• Build the playbook, creating implementation guides and expansion frameworks, and mentor new team members.

• 5+ years as a Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect in SaaS.
• Deep experience with REST APIs, webhooks, SQL, and enterprise integrations, especially in billing, financial, or compliance software.
• You default to automation, using AI and modern tooling to move faster.
• You stay calm under pressure and can adapt your approach in real-time.
• You distill complex technical concepts for any audience.
• You bring structure to ambiguity.
• Track record of increasing scope and responsibility.
• You've built something with AI that you can walk us through.

Compensation ranges from $144K to $230K OTE depending on location, with equity and commission. Hybrid work environment based out of office hubs in San Francisco, New York City, and Salt Lake City, collaborating in-person 3 days per week.
