This role is for a Senior Architect on the Emerging Technologies Experimentation Team, focusing on fraud detection and governance. You will architect and prototype scalable solutions, experiment with AI/ML and emerging tech, lead technical direction, mentor engineers across US and India, and communicate vision to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Architect and prototype scalable, high-performance solutions using modern technologies.
- Experiment and iterate on new product ideas, leveraging AI, machine learning, and emerging tech.
- Lead technical direction, guiding and mentoring engineering teams.
- Partner cross-functionally to align prototypes with business goals.
- Mentor software development engineers across US and India.
- Communicate technical vision to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Qualifications
Required
- 15+ years in architecture or principal engineering roles.
- Applied fraud detection and governance framework experience.
- Familiarity with AI, ML, and LLMs with deployment experience.
- Proven success designing large-scale architectures on AWS & Azure.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Java, Go).
- Experience with front-end (React, Angular) and back-end (Node.js, Spring, SpringBoot).
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Desired

Compensation
Pay ranges vary by location: $284,320 - $355,400 (CO, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, VT, DC); $292,080 - $365,100 (NY, NJ, WA, CA outside SF Bay); $324,480 - $405,600 (SF Bay Area). Eligible for equity and bonus plans.
