Sr Director, AI Ecosystem & Partner Innovation

Verkada is hiring a Senior Director of AI Ecosystem & Partner Innovation to lead the technical strategy, execution, and operating model for third-party integrations into the Verkada platform. The role owns the technical partner ecosystem, working with the broader Partner Integrations team to build and maintain strong technical relationships with each integration partner, ensuring partner efforts remain live, reliable, supportable, and actively maintained. The leader defines standards and processes for stable, secure, continuously validated integrations, and coordinates with Field and Product leadership to align partner efforts with customer needs, product direction, support readiness, and field execution. The team will create tools and frameworks that make it easier for partners to build with Verkada, including developer toolkits, API wrappers, sample code, validation automation, reference architectures, and demos.

• Maintain a single source of truth for all partner integration efforts, including status, priority, ownership, business value, deployment state, and health.
• Own the integration intake and prioritization process across requests from Verkada, customers, partners, and the Field organization.
• Own the active technical business relationship with each strategic integration partner, ensuring alignment on roadmap, responsibilities, support model, and escalation paths.
• Ensure completed integrations are supportable by both Verkada and partner support organizations, including documentation, troubleshooting guides, escalation procedures, and handoff models.
• Lead the team building tools, software, reference architectures, and developer resources that make Verkada the easiest physical security platform to integrate with.
• Build field- and partner-ready technical enablement materials explaining value, use cases, architecture, differentiation, and support model for each integration.

• 10+ years of experience building API-level integrations between companies.
• Previous experience building and managing integrations and organizing how they are supported once delivered to customers.
• Excellent communication and customer/partner-facing skills.
• Ability to work with many internal and external parties simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for technology, education, and continuous improvement.

Estimated annual on-target earnings (OTE) range of $320,000—$400,000 USD, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable). Additional compensation may include sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs).
