About the job

Company

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. Samsara serves industries including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing, with product solutions including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring.

About the role

Samsara is seeking a Sr. Product Marketing Manager, AI Operations to build the AI-first operating strategy and system that runs Product Marketing at scale, replacing manual handoffs with automated, always-current infrastructure. The role spans PMM Operations — building the AI-first operational strategy, context layer, and strategic inputs and templates that feed AI tools — and Release Strategy — re-imagining the release motion with an AI-first system that turns release process, deadlines, and launch context into launch calendar, tiering, and messaging automatically.

Responsibilities

  • Build the PMM Context Layer for AI: create and maintain a structured source of truth for messaging, ICP, and positioning that PMM, downstream teams, and AI tools can draw on to generate campaigns, decks, blog posts, and launch content.
  • Own the Operations System end to end for PMM: build the intake, tasking, and ticketing system; turn PMM workflows, QBR materials, onboarding docs, and team processes into templates and tooling.
  • Elevate the PMM team as a force multiplier, identifying and delivering on opportunities to improve how the team works.
  • Manage the program end to end: track dependencies and open items across concurrent workstreams, launch alignment, directorate coordination, and ops rollouts to resolution.
  • Architect the AI-Powered Launch Engine: lead the redesign of Samsara's launch approach, design requirements for automated workflows, and streamline PMM steps from intake and templates to derivative content.

Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years in Product Marketing, Product Management, Product Ops, Program Management, or a related role
  • Deep, hands-on experience using AI to identify, re-architect, and build multi-step workflows or automated processes end-to-end
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs with competing timelines and dependencies
  • Builder mentality and ambiguity tolerance; comfortable operating without a clear roadmap
  • Strong track record of driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing organizations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree required

An ideal candidate also has release marketing/NPI experience, PMM team-building experience, and strong marketing instincts.

Compensation and benefits

Annual base salary range is $119,297.50—$200,500 USD. The role is eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff, ongoing refresh opportunities tied to performance, performance-based bonus/variable pay, a professional development stipend, and comprehensive health and parental leave plans.

Application

This is a remote position open to candidates based in the US. Apply via the Samsara careers page. Reasonable accommodations are available by emailing accessibleinterviewing@samsara.com.
