Webflow is the agentic web marketing platform for modern marketing teams, helping organizations build, manage, and optimize high-performing web experiences. We are looking for a Staff Hosting Infrastructure Engineer to make our core product services more reliable, scalable, and efficient, while also building new internal processes to make our engineering teams more efficient.

About the role

Remote-first: US and Canada (BC, Ontario). Full-time permanent exempt. Reporting to Senior Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Create and test reliable cloud infrastructure services supporting Webflow's products.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce triage load, increase reliability, and handle growing scale.
  • Employ tools like Pulumi, AWS, Cloudflare workers, Kubernetes, and more.
  • Balance reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency while refactoring and modernizing services.
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams to deliver new solutions.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and on-call/incident response.
  • Enhance engineering speed and safety through automation and cloud best practices.
  • Mentor and teach junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years building, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems in customer-facing environments.
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling multi-region cloud environments on AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with Cloudflare workers and tooling.
  • Experience with container-centric architectures (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Pulumi).
  • Experience with Agentic development.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring and sponsoring less-experienced engineers.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with fullstack applications in TypeScript, Node, or Go.
  • Experience leading projects and mentoring.
  • Proactive embrace of AI and emerging technologies.

Compensation

US zones: Zone A $212,000-255,000; Zone B $200,000-240,000; Zone C $186,700-224,000. Canada: 232,000-278,000 CAD. Eligible for company-wide bonus program.
