The Platform Ecosystem team empowers industries to build on Claude and creates commercial rails for businesses on the platform. This is a founding team role driving 0→1 efforts from ideation to delivery, partnering with product, design, research, and forward-deployed engineers.
What you'll do
- Verticals: Build for next API markets such as Life Sciences & Healthcare, working with cross-functional teams to understand industry needs and build capabilities, integrations, and workflows for safe adoption of Claude.
- Monetization: Design and operate systems for pricing, packaging, and selling on Claude, at the intersection of product, platform infrastructure, and go-to-market.
You might be a good fit if you
- Have a minimum of 8 years of practical experience as a backend or platform engineer, with some frontend experience.
- Have strong product sense and technical chops to tackle a wide variety of challenges.
- Are familiar with using AI tools as part of the software development process.
- Take a product-focused approach to platform work and care about robust, scalable, easy-to-use solutions.
- Take full ownership of work from design through build, deployment, and operations.
- Can navigate ambiguity and make sound technical decisions independently.
Compensation
Annual salary: $405,000—$485,000 USD.
Location
San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY. Hybrid policy: all staff expected in office at least 25% of the time.
