Staff Storage Engineer, File & Block

CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI, a specialized cloud provider delivering GPU compute for AI/ML workloads. Founded in 2017, publicly traded (Nasdaq: CRWV) since March 2025.

Design, build, and operate the file and block storage behind CoreWeave's high-performance AI storage platform. Responsibilities include designing a highly scalable multi-tenant control plane, contributing to exabyte-scale S3-compatible object storage and distributed file systems, integrating dedicated storage clusters into customer environments, working with RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, RoCE, InfiniBand, SPDK, and distributed filesystems, improving reliability, durability, and observability, collaborating with operations teams on telemetry and dashboards, and mentoring engineers.

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years in storage systems engineering or infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with object storage or distributed filesystems in production
• Experience with storage protocols (S3, NFS) and file systems (Ceph, DAOS)
• Proficiency in Go, C++, or Rust
• Familiarity with observability tools (ClickHouse, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, and scalable architecture

Base salary range $207,000-$303,000, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and comprehensive benefits.
