As a Strategy & Operations team member on the Product Partnerships team, you'll own the analytical foundation behind how Anthropic thinks about the value of data and product partnerships. You'll build valuation frameworks that inform where Anthropic invests and serve as the analytical partner to deal leads through negotiations. The role suits someone who thrives in ambiguity, pivots between high-level strategy and detailed analysis, and solves problems without an established playbook.

• Own valuation frameworks used across data and product partnerships and develop new approaches as partnerships evolve.
• Build valuation models, partnership evaluation frameworks, and ROI analyses behind partnership initiatives.
• Maintain a benchmark library of comparable transactions and historical pricing; conduct industry and competitive research.
• Serve as the internal expert on partnership spend, historical transactions, and forward planning.
• Review inbound proposals and pricing from partners and provide deal leads with a defensible analytical view.
• Partner with deal leads to develop data-grounded negotiation strategies and support partner managers in navigating novel partnership structures.
• Design scalable systems and processes, leveraging Claude, and build dashboards and reporting infrastructure to track portfolio health, deal pipeline, spend, usage, and key success metrics.
• Optimize the partnership lifecycle: sourcing, inbound tracking, contracts, cross-functional approvals, delivery, and feedback loops.
• Serve as the liaison between Partnerships, Research, Product and Finance, working with cross-functional teams on operational challenges.

You may be a good fit if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or internal strategy and operations at a technology company.
• Exceptional analytical skills and advanced proficiency in financial modeling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders (Research, Product, Partnerships, Finance, Legal).
• Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of a workstream and drive it independently from question to decision.
• The judgment and conviction to form an opinion and defend it, paired with openness to update it as data evolves.
• Ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar subject matter and build processes and systems from 0 to 1.
• Reach for AI by default when facing repetitive analysis.
• Excitement about Anthropic's mission to build safe, transformative AI systems.

Strong candidates may also have: operating experience inside a company, a track record in negotiations/deal structuring/partnerships, background in data/content/product licensing, demonstrated fluency with Claude or other AI tools, and proficiency with SQL, Python, or similar.

Annual Salary: $205,000—$240,000 USD.

Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Required field of study: a field relevant to the role. Location-based hybrid policy: all staff are expected to be in one of Anthropic's offices at least 25% of the time. Visa sponsorship is available.
