Technical Growth Content Specialist

The Technical Growth Content Specialist creates educational content that helps enterprise buyers and technical practitioners discover, evaluate, and adopt Tailscale, working at the intersection of technical writing, content marketing, developer education, and product storytelling alongside the AI & Organic Search Manager.

• Create growth content from search insights, customer questions, and community signals; monitor Twitter, Hacker News, and Reddit for timely content.
• Build hands-on Tailscale experience to produce credible, practical technical content at high velocity with high technical accuracy.
• Partner with Product Marketing, Product, Engineering, Developer Relations, Docs, and subject matter experts; refresh and optimize existing content.
• Develop an AI-first content program and support strategic initiatives driving self-serve revenue and product adoption.

• 3–6+ years in growth technical content marketing, technical writing, developer marketing, journalism, or related field.
• Exceptional writing and editing; familiarity with SEO and AI discoverability best practices.
• Experience creating educational content for technical or enterprise audiences; comfortable learning new technologies and using AI tools.
• Strong collaboration, project management, and organizational skills.

• Experience marketing developer tools, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, or B2B SaaS; familiarity with GitHub, Markdown, HTML, or static site generators.
• Basic familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Go; experience building sample applications, demos, or interactive resources.
• Active presence in developer communities; existing audience on Twitter/X or personal blog in the AI space; experience building content clusters.

Base salary range: $127,300—$159,460 CAD. Package includes base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
