VP, Strategic Finance

Smartsheet is an enterprise work management platform used by over 120,000 organizations, including 85% of the Fortune 500. The VP of Strategic Finance is a mission-critical leadership role responsible for developing and executing Smartsheet's long-term financial strategy, sitting at the intersection of Finance, Product, and Commercial strategy. This role reports to the SVP of Financial Planning & Analysis and is eligible to work remotely within the United States.

Responsibilities include leading 3-5 year long-range financial models, establishing top-down financial targets, partnering with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, leading pricing and packaging analysis, M&A due diligence and integration, building and leading a high-performing strategic finance team, and supporting board and investor communications.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (MBA/CFA preferred), minimum 12 years of progressive finance experience in enterprise SaaS, expertise in subscription and consumption-based business models, advanced financial modeling skills (Excel, Python), and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation: US Base Salary Pay Range $240,000—$290,000 USD, plus market competitive incentive opportunity.
