Enterprise Account Executive

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will drive net-new revenue and expansion within strategic enterprise accounts. You will own a defined territory, build your own pipeline, tell the Elastic Search AI story, and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals in a consumption-based model.

• Develop and execute a proactive outbound cadence (email, call, social) generating at least 50% of booked opportunities.
• Conduct deep discovery and qualification using frameworks like MEDDPICC.
• Craft and deliver tailored narratives and live demos mapping Elastic's Search, Observability, and Security capabilities to business outcomes.
• Build formal close plans, maintain CRM with at least 90% forecast accuracy within ±10%.
• Lead contract and pricing negotiations, landing multi-year consumption commitments.
• Speak fluently about cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps.

• 5+ years of SaaS quota-carrying success closing complex enterprise deals in a consumption-based or usage-model environment.
• Expert discovery and qualification skills with MEDDPICC or equivalent frameworks.
• Track record of executive-level presentations and demos tying product capabilities to business value.
• History of landing multi-year, high-ACV contracts while protecting margin.
• Technical fluency in observability, security, vector/traditional search, and cloud cost optimization.
• Collaborative mindset, coachability, and enthusiasm for open-source communities.

On-Target Earnings (OTE) range: $226,500—$358,300 USD, with a 50/50 base/variable split. Base salary range: $113,300—$179,200 USD; target variable range: $113,200—$179,100 USD. Eligible for Elastic's stock program, company-matched 401k (dollar-for-dollar up to 6% of eligible earnings), health coverage, flexible locations and schedules, generous vacation, up to $2000 match for donations, 40 hours volunteer time, and minimum 16 weeks parental leave.
