Senior Procurement Analyst

Datadog is the leading observability and security platform for the AI era, providing unified visibility across the technology stack. We are looking for a Senior Procurement Analyst to join the Strategic Sourcing group within the Finance department, based in New York, NY. This is a hybrid role, as we value our office culture and collaboration.

• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance market research, accelerate data analysis, and improve sourcing workflows.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate automation and AI into procurement processes.
• Support and execute sourcing strategies for G&A categories (People Team, Finance, Legal, Real Estate).
• Lead and execute sourcing events (RFx), negotiate pricing and terms with vendors.
• Manage renewals list, analyze spend data, create pricing models, and build license forecast models.
• Collaborate with FP&A and other functions on utilization and forecast models.
• Monitor market trends and provide recommendations.

• 2-3+ years of experience in procurement through strategic sourcing with data analysis and negotiated savings.
• Able to analyze and present complex data, build business cases for contracts and renewals.
• Experience at a high-growth company, understanding scaling nuances.
• Proven stakeholder partnership skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to experiment with AI tools.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to create structure in ambiguous situations.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience with Zip is a plus.

Compensation: The reasonably estimated yearly salary for this role is $89,000—$118,000 USD.
