Senior Strategic Account Executive

Twilio is a remote-first communications platform company serving hundreds of thousands of businesses. This Senior Strategic Account Executive role (level 4) focuses on the Retail vertical, leading relationships with enterprise Communications platform customers consuming messaging, voice, and email services. Responsibilities include managing and expanding key Retail accounts, developing account strategy, running consultative sales cycles, maintaining a Salesforce pipeline, and partnering cross-functionally with product, finance, support, and services teams.

Required qualifications: 8+ years of sales experience with 3+ years in major/strategic accounts; expertise in quantitative, analytical products; relationship management, cross-sells, upsells, and solutions consulting; comfort with technical leaders; data-driven account development; forecasting and financial modeling; entrepreneurial mindset; track record of revenue and gross profit results; excellent communication; Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Desired: Telecom/CPaaS/SMS aggregator/carrier experience; Retail vertical sales; quantitative industry domain expertise; software/SaaS/CPaaS/PaaS selling.

Location: Remote - US, not eligible in CA, CT, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, OR, PA, RI, TX, VA, WA, or Washington DC. Approximately 30% travel.

Compensation: Pay ranges vary by location: $158,632-$198,290 (CO, HI, MN, VT); $167,440-$209,300 (DC, IL, MD, MA, CA outside SF Bay); $176,256-$220,320 (NY, NJ, WA, SF Bay). Eligible for equity and commissions.
