As a Sr. GSI Partner Specialist Solutions Architect, you will cultivate technical relationships with one of our largest Global C&SI partners, strengthening relationships with key data and application leaders to accelerate indirect revenue, enable their data and application development practices, and execute on long-term GTM strategy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical partner and thought leader to the Databricks GTM partnerships team, driving strategic programs and identifying opportunities to deepen partner technical capabilities.
- Embed with partner technical teams to enable their practices, support troubleshooting, evangelize Databricks in developer communities, and serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with partners to identify high-value industry-specific GenAI applications, develop joint solutions, and codify reference architectures and best practices.
- Intervene directly to unblock strategic customer deals where the partner is the primary delivery vehicle.
- Represent Databricks at partner events, customer workshops, AWS/Azure summits, and industry conferences; lead or support partner-specific developer events, hackathons, and technical enablement sessions.
- Validate and gather feedback on Databricks products and offerings, delivering feedback to product teams to inform roadmap and partner strategy.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in technical customer- and partner-facing roles, including Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Partner Sales Engineer, and Technical Account Manager.
- 5+ years of experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
- Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Track record of partnering with Global C&SIs and/or cloud providers to solve complex technical challenges.
- Strong presentation and technical communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with common Agentic frameworks, application development, or a background in machine learning or data science.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Can travel up to 30% when needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Local Pay Range: $219,100—$301,300 USD. Total compensation may include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
