About Affirm

Affirm is a financial technology company that provides transparent, predictable pay-over-time solutions with no hidden fees or surprises. The Product team translates customer insights into a clear product vision, working closely with design, engineering, and analytics to build scalable financial products.

About the Role

As a Staff Product Manager on Affirm’s Credit & Pricing team, you will shape how consumers discover, understand, and use available credit. You will own the strategy for credit experiences spanning shopping, repayment, and marketing, turning complex credit capabilities into intuitive products that build trust and drive activation, conversion, and repeat engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Define a cohesive vision for consumer credit experiences and translate strategy into priorities across multiple teams.
  • Help consumers explore financing options before checkout, discover purchasing power, and understand when credit becomes available again after repayment.
  • Develop personalized experiences for new and returning consumers using research and experimentation.
  • Own merchant prequalification and purchasing power experiences, partnering with core credit decisioning teams.
  • Lead cross-functional decisions with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, Commercial, and Legal partners.
  • Define success, lead discovery and experimentation, and use funnel analysis and consumer feedback to improve activation, conversion, and repeat engagement.

What We Look For

  • 7+ years of product management experience with demonstrated success in fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or similar environments.
  • Experience setting direction for a substantial product area and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong consumer product judgment and ability to translate complex systems into intuitive experiences.
  • Strategic and technical depth to connect long-term opportunities to practical product and platform decisions.
  • Analytical and experimental rigor using customer research, behavioral data, and well-designed experiments.
  • Ownership in ambiguity and ability to make sound decisions with incomplete information.
  • Experience with credit, lending, personalization, or AI-powered consumer experiences is a plus.
